Gunung Datuk Rembau, Seremban...

Right after hiking down from chilling falls, we were getting ourselfs cleaned up when we saw this other group of people who hiked up to chilling falls about the same time we did... so we decided to say hi and talk to them... after a bit of introduction and talking we decided to go makan together and to makan the famous mee in KKB town unfortunately the shop that we were supposed to go to was close so we went to another shop that served the same mee... we were hungry like crazy after the hike and ate loads of mee, after filling up our stomach. Ryan one of the guys we just met said that they were going to Gunung Datuk later at night and asked us if we wanted to join them... so we contemplated for a bit and decided to do something extreme by going with them even though we were really tired after the hike at Chilling Falls... So we split up there took a fast drive home to get our gear and a new change of clothes and met up at jaya one with the other guys.. they drove a van so we decided to all go into one car and save on costs, once all the stuff were done we started our journey to seremban and onwards towards Gunung Datuk. I took a short nap on the way to the foot of gunung Datuk... the ride was bumpy but i managed to get some shut eye until i was woken by ryan's loud voice... we reached the foot in no time and started packing our backpacks and then we started our climb.. the first 45minutes of the terrain was at a 80 to 90 degree gradient and it was really difficult... after reaching the first checkpoint we took a short break and continued but this time the slope was only at a 35 to 45 degree gradient so it was not as difficult but it was really tiring and my backpack was heavy not to mention 3 bottles of 1.5liters that i was caring but we eventually reached the peak. The wind was blowing really fast at least 30kph constant but we managed to pitch our tent and changed into a dry set of clothing as we were drenched in sweat. We had packed food earlier and once we changed our clothing and settled down we had our supper and then relaxed talking about stuff and some experiences until everyone were tired and decided to sleep. We got up the next day around 11am and cooked breakfast once we were done with breakfast, we packed up all our stuff and proceeded to the peak of the mountain where the scenery was breath taking. here are some pictures of Gunung Datuk....

Chilling Falls, KKB....

I got back from chilling falls two days ago... boy was it awesome, the view was amaizing. We started our journey early in the morning around 4plus am... we took a slow drive there enjoying the view all through to KKB. Since i had not been there for quite some time i had forgotten the way there but i brought a map and therefore avoided getting lost... we reached KKB around 6am but unfortunately  the gate to the place only opened at 8am because it was runned by the Fishery Department of Malaysia and they only allow people into the place after 8am... So we drove back into town to have breakfast and we had pan mee old school style, it was nice. After breakfast we went back to the entrance of Chilling Falls and begun our hike... the place was maintained well and the paths were clearly indicated with large signboards telling us when to cross the river. There were 6 river crossings all together and most of it were waist deep so most of us got wet crossing... We met three other people who were hiking along with us they had cameras and were taking pictures of the surrounding. after hiking for a bit we finally came to the waterfall and it was a wonderful sight indeed, worth the hike i would say... here are a few pictures of the trip...

Steamboat & BBQ at Talipon, Kelana Jaya Christmas Eve...

Me, jey and yentai had nothing to do for christmas eve... so we decided to go makan makan... after quite the debate we ended up at Talipon in kelana jaya... man was the roads really jam... all of us were extremely hungry and some getting cranky... suprisingly it was not me... that was a first.. hehe... once we reached, parking was another issue for some reason there were alot of people parking there in the area, we got one! but it was a little far from the shop but non-the-less it was still a parking. once we sat down at our table, one by one of us started on our scavange hunt looking for the right amount of food... we ate loads of stuff and i would say i ate loads of prawns too... all that colesterol... hehe... got to burn it off... well the hiking trip to KKB should do the trick... hehe here are a few picture of the night. oh yeah there was this kid from the table beside us, she was soo cute running around with her ice cream cone saying hello, bye bye to everyone including us... here are a few pictures from that night... the food was ok but very little variety of food and ice-cream.. alil pricy not to mention.

The cute kids i was taking about....

Asians and its defination...

It got me thinking the other day that when we say asians the images that pops out is a chinese person... why is that??? the defination of asian, is people from the asian continent!!! So why does eveyone assume that it has to be a chinese... I have no issues with my fello chinese brothers but dont u think its a little racists... the asian continent also contains indians, malays, phillipinos, indonesian and so on.. So why do the Americans classify the chinese race as asians??? ok some may say that the most highest population are the chinese people but i beg to differ... indians and indonesians are also a large population. Everytime i open a webpage or a porn site i find that all the girls or guys who are chinese or atleast yellow skinned are considered asians and then when u see an indian person they label them straight as INDIAN not asians even though we are still under the asian continent... whats up with that??? I still cant understand whats that all about... I find all this Americans always believing what they want to believe and seeing what they want to see.... any of u guys know why is it like that, send in comments....

La Sallian Gathering

Every year end we have a la sallian gathering where all lasallian brothers meet and have dinner and catch up on what going on in everyone's life. We were at Summers BBQ and steam boat last night and boy did i eat... i was sitting there literally hogging all the food and mantis prawns till we built a pyramid of shells. After having dessert we were talking and catching up on old time and how everyone has changed in many different ways. It was good seeing the guys after such a long time since we left school. After dinner we went to Happy Cafe cause it was chew's birthday so we had beer and some tid-bits to munch on, everyone was satisfied with dinner and supper so we decided to call an end to the gathering and went to tapau burger Ramli since we were a little hungry after all the beers. Here are some pic of the night:
